WE ARE “THE BEST”!
WINNING ROLE. Lithuanians truly have this kind of thinking. Maybe it is because we are small nation and always trying show up somehow, maybe it is ‘narrow-minded’ thinking that others (the rest of the world) do not understand even a thing... In general, the same situations occurs in galleries attendance.
CLOSING TIME
"BAD" HABIT. One thing that is really didn’t make this text valuable (beside other things) is that you have no chance to visit these exhibitions because of the very simple reason, they are already finished.
SPACES WITH ATTITUDE
ATTITUDE TO YOU. The space (place) of gallery topic seems very intriguing for PC. The first impression of space is very important - it could set off wonderful and glorious relation between the space and the visitor and, opposite, it could kill any interest visiting back.
INTERVIEW WITH DEAF ARTIST LINAS PODIRIAKA
Linas Podiriaka is a young artist who graduated from Vilnius Academy of Art last summer with MA degree in Painting. Linas is deaf since early childhood, yet this wasn‘t a thing to deter him from studying art.
CAUGHT IN COMPLETE INTERMISSION
PC’s first mission is accomplished. Telling the truth when I arrived in galleries I have completely forgotten my new challenge. From one hand it is good not to put much pressure and obligation, it helps to feel free. From another hand I did not make any photos, notes, special deeper investigations which could be valuable for the PC’s mission success. At least these exhibitions are still on (usually my visits coincide with the last days) and will be available for the next week or two!
WE ARE EXISTING!
I don’t know how many of us, I don’t know how we look like, I don’t know why we are doing this… but still we are EXISTING - common people who are interested in arts, in artists, in perceptions, in emotions, in DOING IT! I call it perfect consumer (PC) type.
