Roma Turauskaite-Tumeniene was born in Kaunas, 1975. From 2009 her eyes started to weaken; now she can see only 10% from 100%. Artist uses magnifying glass. Since childhood she was interested in paper cuttings and even her eyes disability couldn’t distract her from this passion. Since 2012 Roma is participating in exhibitions and even illustrated Roze Poskiene book “Homeland ballads”. In Roma’s paper cuts we can find lot of Lithuanian folk art’s symbols, especially tree of life.
